Newell Veterans Memorial

Memorial Dedication was held on August 7, 2010,

at the Allee Building.

The Newell Area Veterans Memorial has been constructed to remember all honorably discharged Veterans, Guard and Reservist whose names have been submitted. The memorial is located on Newell’s main street next to the Allee Building. Engraved granite stones display the names of each veteran. A walk way provides easy viewing and landscaping is throughout the memorial. The memorial dedication ceremony was held on August 7, 2010 in conjunction with Newell’s all school reunion.


Names for the memorial may be submitted through an application form linked to this web site or by contacting the committee members whose names are also listed on this web site. Additional names will be engraved as they are submitted.  The committee urges interested parties to send applications in as soon as possible.
